Because of the reconstruction of the tram track, starting on Monday, 30 September 2019 (from 4:30 a.m.) and ending on Friday, 4 October 2019 (to the end of daytime operation), tram operation on the Brusnice – Královský letohrádek section is suspended (only in the indicated direction).

Route changes of tram lines (in the indicated direction)

Lines no. 22 and 23 are, on the  Brusnice – Malostranská section, diverted via the stops Prašný most, Hradčanská and Chotkovy sady.

No substitute bus service is being provided.

Pražská tržnice – Dělnická: Temporary suspension of tram operation

Because of the reconstruction of the tram track, starting on Monday, 23 September 2019 (from approximately 4:30 a.m.) and ending on  Friday, 25 October 2019 (to approximately 0:30 a.m.), tram operation on  the Pražská tržnice – Dělnická section is suspended in both directions.

Route changes of tram lines

  • Lines no. 1 and 25 are, in the  direction from Vltavská, shortened to the Pražská tržnice stop.
  • Line no. 6 is, in the direction from Kubánské náměstí, from the Palmovka stop, extended via the stops Krejcárek, Ohrada and Chmelnice to the Spojovací turning loop.
  • Line no. 12 is, in the direction from Sídliště Barrandov, from the Strossmayerovo náměstí stop, routed via the stops Veletržní palác, Nádraží Holešovice, Maniny, Palmovka, Balabenka, Nádraží Libeň and Hloubětín to the  Lehovec turning loop.
  • Line no. 14 is, in the direction from Spořilov, from  the Vltavská stop (at bridgehead of Hlávkův most), diverted via the stops Strossmayerovo náměstí and Veletržní palác to the Výstaviště Holešovice turning loop.
  • Connections of line no. 17, commonly terminated in the Výstaviště Holešovice turning loop, continue further as line no. 34 in the direction of Vysočanská.

Established tram line

In daytime operation, tram line no. 34 is established on the  route Vysočanská – Divadlo Gong – Balabenka – Palmovka – Maniny – Nádraží Holešovice – Výstaviště Holešovice and continues further as line no. 17 in the direction of Sídliště Modřany.

Changes to tram stops

The Vltavská stop is established (for both directions) at  bridgehead ofvHlávkův most.

Substitute service

Substitute bus service no. X25 is established in daytime operation on the route Maniny – Pražská tržnice – Maniny.

Please note that on Monday, 23 September 2019, approximately from 0:00 a.m. to 0:40 a.m., the last connections of daytime tram lines no. 1, 12, 14 and 25 are, due to installation of a railway crossing, diverted and replaced in  the affected area by substitute bus service line no. X1 on the route Maniny – Pražská tržnice – Vltavská – Strossmayerovo náměstí. More detailed information is available at the surface transport stops that may be affected.

Starý Hloubětín – Lehovec: Temporary suspension of tram operation

Due to repair of the hot water pipeline in Poděbradská street, starting on Wednesday, 11 September 2019 (from approximately 4:30 a.m.), and lasting until Thursday, 19 September 2019 (to approximately 0:30 a.m.), tram operation in the section Starý Hloubětín – Lehovec is suspended in both directions.

Route changes of tram lines

Lines no. 16, 25, 92 and 94 are, in the direction from the city centre, diverted to the Starý Hloubětín turning loop.

Substitute service

  • In daytime operation, substitute bus service X16 is established on the route Starý Hloubětín – Hloubětín – Lehovec.
  • In night-time operation, line no. 912, extended from Lehovec to the Starý Hloubětín turning loop, can be used as substitute bus service.

Changes in public transport during Birell Grand Prix Praha 2019

On Saturday, the 7 of September 2019, the race of the  international running event “BIRELL GRAND PRIX PRAHA 2019“ takes place from  approximately 6:00 p.m. to approximately 9:00 p.m.

  • In connection with this event, tram operation is suspended in both directions from approximately 4:00 p.m. to approximately 9:25 p.m. in the area of Masarykovo nádraží (streets Dlážděná and Havlíčkova), náměstí Republiky, Revoluční ulice and Štefánikův most.
  • At the same time, please note the concurrent suspension of tram operation in Na Poříčí street, in the area of the Bílá labuť stops.
  • Moreover, from approximately 5:30 p.m. to approximately 9:25 p.m. tram operation is also suspended in the area of nábřeží Edvarda Beneše, nábřeží Kapitána Jaroše and Čechův most.
  • The affected tram lines no. 5, 6, 9, 14, 15, 17, 26 and 33 are, for the period of the run, routed via diversion routes. The operation of the historical tram line no. 41 is  terminated approximately at 3:30 p.m.

More information on diversions of individual lines can be found at the stops in the affected areas.

Transport measures in the BUS operation

  • From approximately 4:00 p.m. to approximately 6:30 p.m., the stops Masarykovo nádraží, Náměstí Republiky and Dlouhá třída are cancelled for line no. 207 in both directions.
  • From approximately 6:30 p.m. to approximately 9:30 p.m., the line no. 207 is shortened to the Ohrada – Florenc route.
  • The operation of line no. 194 is terminated earlier. The last connection departs from the Florenc stop at 3:30 p.m.
  • In the Florenc – Masarykovo nádraží – Senovážné náměstí section, the substitute bus service no. X6 is established from approximately 3:45 p.m. to approximately 9:25 p.m.

With respect to these changes we recommend using especially the metro lines in the surroundings of the suspended areas.

Permanent changes in PID starting on the 1st of September 2019

Starting on Sunday, the 1st of September 2019, several permanent changes and  modifications in the PID operation will apply. The most significant ones in the  area of the Capital City of Prague include especially the following changes in bus operation:

  • Line no. 108 is, on the section between the stops Sibiřské náměstí and Zelená, routed in both directions via the newly established stops Českomalínská and Rooseveltova (the Goetheho stops, in the direction to Sídliště Na Dědině, and the Nemocnice Bubeneč stop, in both directions, are cancelled).
  • Line no. 130 is newly operated also at the weekends.
  • For line no. 164, the Sportovní centrum Řepy stop is established in both directions in Na Chobotě street.
  • For lines no. 201 and 953, the Kbelský lesopark stop is established in both directions in Toužimská street.
  • For line no. 225, the Na Pastvinách stop is established in the direction to Velká Ohrada in Na Pastvinách street.

Names of stops are changed:

  • Úřad Řepy – new name: Radnice Řepy
  • Letecké opravny – new name: Sportovní centrum Kbely

Moreover, there are changes in the character of several bus stops, in modifications of timetables of some lines and in other partial adjustments.

Zličín: Temporary relocation of stops

Zličín: Temporary relocation of stops

Because of the reconstruction of the Zličín bus terminal, starting on  Monday, the 19th of August 2019 (from the launch of daytime operation) until further notice (approximately 3 months), the following changes will  occur:

  • The stops of lines no. 100 (in the direction to the Airport), 180 (in  both directions) and 380 (in the direction to Vypich) are relocated to Řevnická street.
  • Bus lines outside the PID system (including long-distance transport) depart from the Stodůlky metro station.
  • The stops of lines no. 130, 246, 306, 307, 308, 309, 310, 311, 324, 336, 347, 358, 380 (in the direction to Beroun), 384, 386, 952 and 957 are relocated within the terminal according to the progress of work. Their location in the terminal area during the first phase of the reconstruction (from the 19th of August 2019 to the 28th of September 2019) is shown in the attached situation diagram.

The area of Masarykovo nádraží: Temporary suspension of tram operation

Due to a closure of Dlážděná Street (crane dismantling), the tram operation on the Senovážné náměstí – Masarykovo nádraží section is suspended in both directions, starting on Saturday, the 17th of August 2019 (from cca. 0:30 a.m.) and lasting until Monday, the 19th of August 2019 (to cca. 0:30 a.m.).

Route changes of tram lines

Line no. 3 is split into two parts:

  • In the direction from Nádraží Braník it is shortened to the established stop Senovážné náměstí – it further continues as line no. 26 in the direction to Nádraží Hostivař.
  • In the direction from Březiněveská it is shortened to the Masarykovo nádraží stop (in Na Poříčí Street) – it further continues as line no. 26 in the direction to Divoká Šárka.

Line no. 6 is split into two parts:

  • In the direction from Kubánské náměstí it is shortened to the established stop Senovážné náměstí – it further continues as line no. 15 in the direction to Olšanské hřbitovy.
  • In the direction from Palmovka it is diverted, from the Náměstí Republiky stop, to the Bílá labuť stop, where it terminates.

Line no. 14 is, on the Novoměstská radnice – Bílá labuť section, diverted via the stops Národní třída, Národní divadlo, Staroměstská, Čechův most and Náměstí Republiky.

Line no. 15 is split into two parts:

  • In the direction from Olšanské hřbitovy it is shortened to the established stop Senovážné náměstí – it further continues as line no. 6 in the direction to Kubánské náměstí.
  • In the direction from Kotlářka it is diverted, from the Náměstí Republiky stop, to the Bílá labuť stop, where it terminates.

Line no. 26 is split into two parts:

  • In the direction from Nádraží Hostivař it is shortened to the established stop Senovážné náměstí – it further continues as line no. 3 in the direction to Nádraží Braník.
  • In the direction from Divoká Šárka it is shortened to the Masarykovo nádraží stop (in Na Poříčí Street) – it further continues as line no. 3 in the direction to Kobylisy.

Historical line no. 41 is, on the Národní třída – Strossmayerovo náměstí section, diverted via the stops Karlovo náměstí, Palackého náměstí, Jiráskovo náměstí, Národní divadlo (on the embankment), Staroměstská and Čechův most.

Lines no. 91, 94 and 96 are, on the Lazarská – Strossmayerovo náměstí section, diverted via the stops Národní třída, Staroměstská and Čechův most.

Line no. 92 is, on the Lazarská – Bílá labuť section, diverted via the stops Národní třída, Staroměstská, Čechův most and Náměstí Republiky.

Changes to tram stops

  • The Senovážné náměstí stops are established at Senovážné náměstí – for the direction to Jindřišská before the rail intersection in the direction from Hlavní nádraží (opposite to U Fontány pharmacy), and for the direction to Hlavní nádraží behind the rail intersection in the direction from Jindřišská.
  • The Masarykovo nádraží stops are relocated to Na Poříčí Street – for the direction to Bílá labuť approximately 15 metres before the intersection with Havlíčkova Street, for the direction to Náměstí Republiky approximately 70 metres behind the intersection with Zlatnická Street.

Changes to bus stops

For line no. 207

the Bílá labuť stop is cancelled (in both directions).

The following stops are established:

Masarykovo nádraží (in the direction to Staroměstská)

  • in Havlíčkova Street approximately 30 metres behind the intersection with Na Florenci Street,
  • in Na Poříčí Street in the relocated tram stop,

Masarykovo nádraží (in the direction to Ohrada)

  • in Na Poříčí Street in the relocated tram stop,
  • in Na Florenci Street approximately 95 metres behind the intersection with Havlíčkova Street.

The Florenc stop (in the direction to Ohrada) is relocated to the boarding stop of line no. 135 in Křižíkova Street.

For lines no. 905 and 911

The following stops are established:

  • Strossmayerovo náměstí (in the direction to Vychovatelna) in the tram stop (in the direction from Kapitána Jaroše Embankment) in Dukelských hrdinů Street,
  • Nábřeží Kapitána Jaroše (in the direction to I. P. Pavlova) in the tram stop at Kapitána Jaroše Embankment.
  • Masarykovo nádraží (in the direction to I. P. Pavlova) in the relocated tram stop in Na Poříčí Street, in the direction to Bílá labuť.

The following stops are relocated:

  • Masarykovo nádraží (in the direction to Vychovatelna) to the relocated tram stop in Na Poříčí Street, in the direction to Náměstí Republiky,
  • Vltavská (in the direction to Vychovatelna) to the tram stop in the direction to Pražská tržnice.

For lines no. 907 and 909

The following stops are relocated (or established):

  • Masarykovo nádraží (in the direction to Hradčanská) to the relocated tram stop in Na Poříčí Street, in the direction to Náměstí Republiky,
  • Masarykovo nádraží (in the direction to Karlovo náměstí, or Ohrada) to the relocated tram stop in Na Poříčí Street, in the direction to Bílá labuť.

For line no. 908

The following stop is relocated:

Masarykovo nádraží (in the direction to Florenc) to Havlíčkova Street approximately 30 metres behind the intersection with Na Florenci Street, to the stop established for line no. 207.

We recommend using the metro lines B and C on the suspended section.

The Spojovací turning loop: Temporary suspension of tram operation

Because of installation and taking down of the rail crossing, on  Saturday, the 10th of August 2019 (from 0:20 a.m. to 5:20 a.m.) and in the night from Friday, the 30th of August 2019 (from 11:00 p.m.) to Saturday, the 31st of August 2019 (to approximately 4:30 a.m.), tram operation on the Vozovna Žižkov – Spojovací section is suspended in both directions.

Route changes of tram lines

Lines no. 1, 9, 11 and 98 are, in the direction from the city centre, shortened to the Vozovna Žižkov stop.

Substitute service

Substitute bus service line no. X98 is established on the suspended section.

 

Because of the reconstruction of the tram track, starting on Saturday, the 10th of August 2019 (from 5:20 a.m.) and lasting until Friday, the 30th of August 2019 (to 11:00 p.m.), tram operation at the Spojovací turning loop is suspended.

Route changes of tram lines

Lines no. 1, 11 and 98 are, in the direction from the city centre, shortened to the Vozovna Žižkov stop.

Substitute tram service

Line no. 90 is established in night operation on the Vozovna Žižkov – Spojovací section.

Changes to tram stops

  • The following stops are established:
    • Vozovna Žižkov (boarding stop for the direction to the city centre) in Na Vápence street,
    • Spojovací (both boarding and terminal stop) in Koněvova street before the intersection with Spojovací street (near the temporarily installed rail crossing).

Changes to bus stops

Until Saturday, the 24th of August 2019, for lines no. 109, 177, 183 and 195, the Balkán stop (in the direction to Pod Táborem) in Spojovací street, is relocated before the intersection with Na Balkáně street, and the Kněžská luka stop (in the direction to Pod Táborem) in Koněvova street, is established approximately 50 metres behind the intersection with U Kněžské louky street.

No substitute bus service is being provided.

Because of the reconstruction of the tram track, starting on Sunday, the 4th of August 2019 (from approximately 0:30 a.m.) and lasting until Sunday, the 11th of August 2019 (to approximately 0:30 a.m.), tram operation on  the Palackého náměstí – Anděl section is suspended in both directions.

Route changes of tram lines

  • Line no. 5 is, in the direction from Ústřední dílny DP, from the  Jiráskovo náměstí stop, diverted to the Palackého náměstí stop (at the embankment) – and  further continues as line no. 7 in the direction to Černokostelecká.
  • Line no. 7 is, in the direction from Černokostelecká, shortened to the  Palackého náměstí stop (at the embankment) – and further continues via the Jiráskovo náměstí stop as line no. 5 in the direction to Ústřední dílny DP.
  • Lines no. 10 and no. 16 are, on the Karlovo náměstí – Anděl section, diverted via the stops Národní třída, Národní divadlo, Újezd and Arbesovo náměstí.
  • Line no. 15 is, in the direction from the city centre, from the  Anděl stop (in  Plzeňská street), diverted  the stops Křížová and Laurová to Radlická, where it terminates.
  • Line no. 94 is, on the Lazarská – Anděl section, diverted via the stops Národní třída, Národní divadlo, Újezd and Arbesovo náměstí.

Note: This measure adjusts the changes of lines no. 5 and 94 described in the traffic measure to the suspension on the Smíchovské nádraží – Hlubočepy section.

No replacement bus service is established. In daytime operation the metro line B can be used on the suspended section.

Changes to bus stops

The Zborovská stop (in the direction to I. P. Pavlova) in  Lidická street is cancelled for lines no. 904, 907 and 908.

The area of Zahradní Město: Temporary restriction of bus and tram operation

Because of the preparatory work before the reconstruction of the railway track in the area of Zahradní Město, starting on Thursday, the 25th of July 2019 (from approximately 4:30 a.m.) and lasting until Monday, the 26th of August 2019 (to approximately 0:30 a.m.), the tram operation on the Nádraží Strašnice – Nádraží Hostivař section is suspended in both directions and bus lines are changed.

Route changes of tram lines

  • All connections of line no. 22 are terminated in the Nádraží Strašnice stop (Radošovická boarding stop).
  • Line no. 26 is, in the direction from the city centre, from the Strašnická stop, diverted to the Kubánské náměstí stop, where it terminates.
  • Lines no. 97 and 99 are, in the direction from the city centre, shortened to the Nádraží Strašnice stop (Radošovická boarding stop).

Substitute service

Substitute bus service is established on the route Strašnická – Nádraží Strašnice – Korytná – Zahradní Město – Centrum Zahradní Město – Nádraží Hostivař (line no. X26 in daytime operation and line no. X99 in night operation).

Changes in bus operation

  • Line no. 101 is, in the direction from Tolstého, from the Zahradní Město stop, diverted to the Jesenická stop, (on the Skalka – Zentiva section the line is replaced by line no. X101).
    • The following stops are established: Želivecká (in the direction to Jesenická) and Jesenická (boarding stop, terminal stop).
    • The Na Padesátém stop is cancelled in both directions.
  • Lines no. 138 and 177 are, between the stops Na Padesátém and Zahradní Město, routed via the stops:
    • In the direction to Zahradní Město
      • Dubečská: in Průběžná street, before the intersection with Žernovská street, at the bus stop designed for the substitute service
      • Radošovická: in Průběžná street, before the intersection with V Korytech street
      • Korytná: in V Korytech street, at the bus stop of line no. 154
    • In the direction to Na Padesátém
      • Korytná: in V Korytech street, at the bus stop of line no. 154
      • Radošovická: in Průběžná street, before the intersection with Radošovická street
      • Dubečská: in Průběžná street, approximately 70 metres behind the intersection with Dubečská street, at the bus stop designed for the substitute service.
  • Line no. 175 is, in the direction from Florenc, shortened to the Skalka stop (on the Zahradní Město – Háje section, the line is replaced by line no. X175).
    • The Na Padesátém stop is cancelled in both directions.
  • Line no. 195 is, in the direction from Krausova, shortened to the Skalka stop.
    • The stops from Na Padesátém to Jesenická are cancelled in both directions.

      (Note: the measure continuing from a suspension already in progress – reconstruction of sewage in streets Jabloňová and Topolová)/li>
  • LLine no. X195 is cancelled.

Established bus lines

  • Bus line no. X101 is established on the route Skalka – Michelangelova – Mokřanská – Kablo – Zentiva (all stops are at regular stops of line no. 101).
  • Bus line no. X175 is established on the route Zahradní Město – Sídliště Na Groši – Hostivařská – Boloňská – Na Křečku – Sídliště Petrovice – Horčičkova – Háje (all stops are at regular stops of line no. 175)
