Staroměstská – Národní divadlo: Temporary suspension of tram operation

Staroměstská – Národní divadlo: Temporary suspension of tram operation

Because of the reconstruction of the tram track, starting on Tuesday, 29 October 2019 (from approximately 0:30 a.m.), and ending on Thursday, 7 November 2019 (to approximately 4:30 a.m.), tram operation in the section Staroměstská – Národní divadlo is suspended in both directions.

Route changes of tram lines

  • Line no. 2 is, in the direction from Sídliště Petřiny, from the Hradčanská stop, diverted to the Špejchar turning loop, where it terminates.
  • Line no. 17 is divided into two parts:
    • In the direction from Vozovna Kobylisy, from the Staroměstská stop (at Jan Palach Square), it is routed by a one-way diversion via the Malostranská stop to the Čechův Bridge stop and back in the direction of Vozovna Kobylisy;
    • In the direction from Levského, it is shortened to the Národní divadlo stop (in Národní street) – further continues as line no. 18 in the direction of Vozovna Pankrác.
  • Line no. 18 is divided into two parts:
    • In the direction from Nádraží Podbaba, from the Malostranská stop (at Edvard Beneš Embankment), it is routed by a one-way diversion via the Právnická fakulta stop to the Staroměstská stop (at Jan Palach Square) and further via the Malostranská stop back in the direction of Nádraží Podbaba;
    • In the direction from Vozovna Pankrác, it is shortened to the Národní divadlo stop (in Národní street) – further continues as line no. 17 in the direction of Sídliště Modřany.
  • Line no. 93 is, in the section Staroměstská (at Jan Palach Square) – Národní divadlo, diverted via the stops Malostranské náměstí , Hellichova and Újezd.
  • Operation of lines no. 21 and 23 is reinforced.

Established tram line

TTram line no. 27 is established in daytime operation on the route Levského – Nádraží Braník – Palackého náměstí – Jiráskovo náměstí – Národní divadlo – Národní třída – Myslíkova – Jiráskovo náměstí – Palackého náměstí – Nádraží Braník – Sídliště Modřany.

Changes to tram stops

The following stops are established:

  • Malostranská (in the direction of Čechův Bridge): at Edvard Beneš Embankment ,
  • Staroměstská (in the direction of Malostranská): at Jan Palach Square, before railway intersection in the direction from Právnická fakulta,
  • Špejchar (boarding and terminal stop): in the turning loop.

Substitute service

No substitute bus service is introduced.

Palmovka – Maniny: Short-term suspension of tram operation

Palmovka – Maniny: Short-term suspension of tram operation

Because of the replacement of street lights on Libeňský Bridge, on Saturday, 26 October 2019, and on Sunday, 27 October 2019, both days from 8:00 a.m. to 6:15 p.m., tram operation in the section Palmovka – Maniny is suspended in both directions.

Route changes of tram lines

  • Line no. 1 is, in the direction from Sídliště Petřiny, from the Dělnická stop, diverted via the stops Nádraží Holešovice, Trojská and Ke Stírce, to the Kobylisy stop (boarding stop is the Březiněveská stop).
  • Line no. 6 is, in the direction from Kubánské náměstí, shortened to the Dělnická stop – it further continues as line no. 14 in the direction of Spořilov.
  • Line no. 14 is, in the direction from Spořilov, shortened to the Dělnická stop – it further continues as line no. 6 in the direction of Kubánské náměstí.
  • Line no. 25 is, in the section Vltavská – Palmovka, diverted via the stops Těšnov, Florenc, Křižíkova and Invalidovna.

Established tram line

Tram line no. 31 is established on the route Spojovací – Ohrada – Krejcárek – Palmovka – Balabenka – Divadlo Gong – Vysočanská.

Changes to tram stops

The Vltavská stop is established in both directions at bridgehead of Hlávkův Bridge.

Substitute service

Substitute bus service line X1 is established on the route Palmovka – Maniny – Dělnická.

Unfortunately, in the case of short-term suspensions of tram operation it is not possible to ensure full-fledged information at the stops. Current information on the exact times of departures in the case of short-term suspensions of the operation can always be obtained in the Find a connection application, after entering the corresponding date.

Pražského povstání – Muzeum: Temporary suspension of the metro operation

Pražského povstání – Muzeum: Temporary suspension of the metro operation

Because of the reconstruction of the tram track, starting on Saturday, 26 October 2019 (from the beginning of the operation), and ending on Monday, 28 October 2019 (to the end of the operation), metro operation on C line between the stations Pražského povstání – Muzeum is suspended in both directions.

Substitute service

Substitute bus service XC is established in daytime operation on the route Pražského povstání – Vyšehrad – I. P. Pavlova – Muzeum – Hlavní nádraží.

Changes to bus operation

For the period of the suspension, operation of line no. 196 is reinforced.

Changes to bus stops

For line no. 134, the Pražského povstání stop is relocated (for the direction of Dvorce approximately by 25 metres forward, for the direction of Podolská vodárna approximately by 20 metres back).

Barrier-free travel

Due to a missing barrier-free exit from the Pražského povstání station, for travels to the city centre we recommend using bus line no. 135 from the area of Jižní Město (from the stations Roztyly and Chodov). All connections are ensured by low-floor vehicles.

Because of the reconstruction of the tram track, starting on Saturday, 26 October 2019 (from approximately 0:30 a.m.), and ending on Tuesday, 29 October 2019 (to approximately 0:30 a.m.), tram operation in the section Staroměstská – Čechův most is suspended in both directions.

Route changes of tram lines

Lines no. 17 and 93 are, in the section Staroměstská – Čechův most, diverted via the Malostranská stop.

Substitute service

Regular bus line no. 207 can be used as substitute service in the section Staroměstská – Právnická fakulta.

Because of the reconstruction of the tram track, starting on Monday, 30 September 2019 (from 4:30 a.m.) and ending on Friday, 4 October 2019 (to the end of daytime operation), tram operation on the Brusnice – Královský letohrádek section is suspended (only in the indicated direction).

Route changes of tram lines (in the indicated direction)

Lines no. 22 and 23 are, on the  Brusnice – Malostranská section, diverted via the stops Prašný most, Hradčanská and Chotkovy sady.

No substitute bus service is being provided.

Pražská tržnice – Dělnická: Temporary suspension of tram operation

Because of the reconstruction of the tram track, starting on Monday, 23 September 2019 (from approximately 4:30 a.m.) and ending on  Friday, 25 October 2019 (to approximately 0:30 a.m.), tram operation on  the Pražská tržnice – Dělnická section is suspended in both directions.

Route changes of tram lines

  • Lines no. 1 and 25 are, in the  direction from Vltavská, shortened to the Pražská tržnice stop.
  • Line no. 6 is, in the direction from Kubánské náměstí, from the Palmovka stop, extended via the stops Krejcárek, Ohrada and Chmelnice to the Spojovací turning loop.
  • Line no. 12 is, in the direction from Sídliště Barrandov, from the Strossmayerovo náměstí stop, routed via the stops Veletržní palác, Nádraží Holešovice, Maniny, Palmovka, Balabenka, Nádraží Libeň and Hloubětín to the  Lehovec turning loop.
  • Line no. 14 is, in the direction from Spořilov, from  the Vltavská stop (at bridgehead of Hlávkův most), diverted via the stops Strossmayerovo náměstí and Veletržní palác to the Výstaviště Holešovice turning loop.
  • Connections of line no. 17, commonly terminated in the Výstaviště Holešovice turning loop, continue further as line no. 34 in the direction of Vysočanská.

Established tram line

In daytime operation, tram line no. 34 is established on the  route Vysočanská – Divadlo Gong – Balabenka – Palmovka – Maniny – Nádraží Holešovice – Výstaviště Holešovice and continues further as line no. 17 in the direction of Sídliště Modřany.

Changes to tram stops

The Vltavská stop is established (for both directions) at  bridgehead ofvHlávkův most.

Substitute service

Substitute bus service no. X25 is established in daytime operation on the route Maniny – Pražská tržnice – Maniny.

Please note that on Monday, 23 September 2019, approximately from 0:00 a.m. to 0:40 a.m., the last connections of daytime tram lines no. 1, 12, 14 and 25 are, due to installation of a railway crossing, diverted and replaced in  the affected area by substitute bus service line no. X1 on the route Maniny – Pražská tržnice – Vltavská – Strossmayerovo náměstí. More detailed information is available at the surface transport stops that may be affected.

Starý Hloubětín – Lehovec: Temporary suspension of tram operation

Due to repair of the hot water pipeline in Poděbradská street, starting on Wednesday, 11 September 2019 (from approximately 4:30 a.m.), and lasting until Thursday, 19 September 2019 (to approximately 0:30 a.m.), tram operation in the section Starý Hloubětín – Lehovec is suspended in both directions.

Route changes of tram lines

Lines no. 16, 25, 92 and 94 are, in the direction from the city centre, diverted to the Starý Hloubětín turning loop.

Substitute service

  • In daytime operation, substitute bus service X16 is established on the route Starý Hloubětín – Hloubětín – Lehovec.
  • In night-time operation, line no. 912, extended from Lehovec to the Starý Hloubětín turning loop, can be used as substitute bus service.

Changes in public transport during Birell Grand Prix Praha 2019

On Saturday, the 7 of September 2019, the race of the  international running event “BIRELL GRAND PRIX PRAHA 2019“ takes place from  approximately 6:00 p.m. to approximately 9:00 p.m.

  • In connection with this event, tram operation is suspended in both directions from approximately 4:00 p.m. to approximately 9:25 p.m. in the area of Masarykovo nádraží (streets Dlážděná and Havlíčkova), náměstí Republiky, Revoluční ulice and Štefánikův most.
  • At the same time, please note the concurrent suspension of tram operation in Na Poříčí street, in the area of the Bílá labuť stops.
  • Moreover, from approximately 5:30 p.m. to approximately 9:25 p.m. tram operation is also suspended in the area of nábřeží Edvarda Beneše, nábřeží Kapitána Jaroše and Čechův most.
  • The affected tram lines no. 5, 6, 9, 14, 15, 17, 26 and 33 are, for the period of the run, routed via diversion routes. The operation of the historical tram line no. 41 is  terminated approximately at 3:30 p.m.

More information on diversions of individual lines can be found at the stops in the affected areas.

Transport measures in the BUS operation

  • From approximately 4:00 p.m. to approximately 6:30 p.m., the stops Masarykovo nádraží, Náměstí Republiky and Dlouhá třída are cancelled for line no. 207 in both directions.
  • From approximately 6:30 p.m. to approximately 9:30 p.m., the line no. 207 is shortened to the Ohrada – Florenc route.
  • The operation of line no. 194 is terminated earlier. The last connection departs from the Florenc stop at 3:30 p.m.
  • In the Florenc – Masarykovo nádraží – Senovážné náměstí section, the substitute bus service no. X6 is established from approximately 3:45 p.m. to approximately 9:25 p.m.

With respect to these changes we recommend using especially the metro lines in the surroundings of the suspended areas.

Permanent changes in PID starting on the 1st of September 2019

Permanent changes in PID starting on the 1st of September 2019

Starting on Sunday, the 1st of September 2019, several permanent changes and  modifications in the PID operation will apply. The most significant ones in the  area of the Capital City of Prague include especially the following changes in bus operation:

  • Line no. 108 is, on the section between the stops Sibiřské náměstí and Zelená, routed in both directions via the newly established stops Českomalínská and Rooseveltova (the Goetheho stops, in the direction to Sídliště Na Dědině, and the Nemocnice Bubeneč stop, in both directions, are cancelled).
  • Line no. 130 is newly operated also at the weekends.
  • For line no. 164, the Sportovní centrum Řepy stop is established in both directions in Na Chobotě street.
  • For lines no. 201 and 953, the Kbelský lesopark stop is established in both directions in Toužimská street.
  • For line no. 225, the Na Pastvinách stop is established in the direction to Velká Ohrada in Na Pastvinách street.

Names of stops are changed:

  • Úřad Řepy – new name: Radnice Řepy
  • Letecké opravny – new name: Sportovní centrum Kbely

Moreover, there are changes in the character of several bus stops, in modifications of timetables of some lines and in other partial adjustments.

Zličín: Temporary relocation of stops

Zličín: Temporary relocation of stops

Because of the reconstruction of the Zličín bus terminal, starting on  Monday, the 19th of August 2019 (from the launch of daytime operation) until further notice (approximately 3 months), the following changes will  occur:

  • The stops of lines no. 100 (in the direction to the Airport), 180 (in  both directions) and 380 (in the direction to Vypich) are relocated to Řevnická street.
  • Bus lines outside the PID system (including long-distance transport) depart from the Stodůlky metro station.
  • The stops of lines no. 130, 246, 306, 307, 308, 309, 310, 311, 324, 336, 347, 358, 380 (in the direction to Beroun), 384, 386, 952 and 957 are relocated within the terminal according to the progress of work. Their location in the terminal area during the first phase of the reconstruction (from the 19th of August 2019 to the 28th of September 2019) is shown in the attached situation diagram.
