Českomoravská – Černý Most: temporary suspension of the underground service

Due to railway reconstruction, the underground service on line B will be suspended in the Českomoravská – Černý Most section in both directions on Sunday, the 13th of November 2016 (from the launch of the operation to cca. 12:45 p.m.).

A replacement bus service

For the period of the suspension, a replacement bus service line XB is established on the route Českomoravská – Nádraží Libeň – Hloubětín – Rajská zahrada – Černý Most. For transport to the underground station Vysočanská please use regular tram and bus lines, for transport to the underground station Kolbenova please use regular tram lines.




Change of a tram line:

Line No. 14 is, from the Nádraží Vysočany stop, extended via the stops Kolbenova and Hloubětín to the Lehovec turning loop, where it terminates.

In connection with the upcoming suspension of the underground line B in the Českomoravská – Černý Most section, which will take place on Sunday, the 13th of November 2016 (from the launch of the operation to cca. 12.45 p.m.), the Prague Public Transit Company prepared the following information measures for passengers:

From Monday, the 7th of November 2016, the informational leaflets will be available especially in the informational showcases of the underground stations. Moreover, large informational posters warning of the Sunday suspension will be placed near entrances to the underground stations of line B.

From Wednesday, the 9th of November 2016, the upcoming suspension will also be announced in the underground stations. The announcements will continue during the suspension as well.

On the day of the suspension already from 5:00 a.m., sufficient number of information clerks with reflective vests will be deployed at the closed stations of the underground and in their immediate surroundings, ready to advise passengers on current public transport connections (not only in Czech, but also in English).

Approximately 15 information boards with a schematic diagram and basic text information in Czech and English language will be arranged to provide information related to the specific destination.
