Christmas and New Year’s service of PID from the 24th of December 2018 to the 4th of January 2019

24th of December 2018 (Monday) – Christmas Eve

All PID lines are operated in line with timetables for Saturday.

METRO: From cca. 6:00 p.m. to the end of the operation, all lines are operated with the interval of 20 minutes.

TRAMS:

  • The operation of daytime lines is gradually restricted from cca. 4:00 p.m. and terminated at cca. 6:00 p.m.
  • The operation of night lines is launched from cca. 6:00 p.m. to cca. 7:00 a.m., with the interval of 30 minutes.

BUSES:

  • Lines no. 119, 161, 180, 191, 208, 903 and 951 are operated in line with a special timetable.
  • Line no. 143 is not in operation.
  • Daytime lines operation is terminated in the period between 6:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
  • From cca. 6:00 p.m. to cca. 7:00 a.m., night lines are operated with the interval of 30 minutes, or with the interval of 60 minutes. Line no. 902 with the interval of

    30 minutes.
  • From cca. 6:00 p.m. to cca. 0:30 a.m., line no. 908 is routed via Skalka terminal, line no. 911 via the stops Roztyly and Letňany and line no. 953 via Letňany.
  • Suburban lines are operated in line with valid timetables, with applicable restrictions marked, and suburban night lines are operated in line with special timetables.

FERRIES, FUNICULAR: The operation is terminated by the last ride (cruise) at 6:00 p.m.

TRAINS: The trains operation in line with timetables for Sunday (exceptions marked by notes in the timetables) is terminated between cca. 6:00 p.m.8:00 p.m., afterwards limited operation is maintained until cca. 10:00 p.m. with the interval of 60 minutes, for lines S1, S2, S4, S7 and S9 only.

During the night from the 24th of December 2018 to the 25th of December 2018, night trains departing from Hlavní nádraží at 2:30 a.m. are not operated.

25th of December 2018 (Tuesday) – Christmas Day

All PID lines are operated in line with timetables for Sunday.

TRAMS: Daytime operation is launched at cca. 7:00 a.m.

BUSES:

  • Daytime operation is launched at cca. 7:00 a.m.
  • Lines no. 119 (connection to the metro), 161, 180, 191, 208, 312 and 355 are operated in line with a special timetable.
  • Line no. 143 is not in operation.
  • From cca. 4:30 a.m. to cca. 7:00 a.m., line no. 908 is routed via Skalka terminal, line no. 911 via the stops Roztyly and Letňany, and line no. 953 via Letňany.
  • Suburban lines are operated in line with valid timetables, with applicable restrictions marked.

TRAINS: The operation in line with regular timetables for Sunday, or public holidays, exceptions are marked by notes in the timetables.

26th of December 2018 (Wednesday) – Boxing Day

All PID lines are operated in line with timetables for Sunday.

  • Lines no. 119 (connection to the metro), 161, 180, 191, 208, 312 and 355 are operated in line with a special timetable.
  • Line no. 143 is not in operation.

TRAINS: The operation in line with regular timetables for Sunday, or public holidays.

27th of December 2018 – 28th of December 2018 (Thursday – Friday)

All PID lines are operated in line with timetables for workdays during holidays.

TRAMS: Lines no. 4 and 21 are not in operation, line no. 16 is operated only in the Lehovec – Kotlářka section.

BUSES: The operation in line with timetables for workdays, or public holidays, with applicable exceptions marked. Lines no. 182 and 286 are not in operation.

TRAINS: The operation is in line with regular timetables for workdays.

29th of December 2018 – 30th of December 2018 (Saturday – Sunday)

All PID lines are operated in line with timetables for Saturday and Sunday, respectively.

Line no. 143 is not in operation.

31st of December 2018 (Monday) – New Year’s Eve

All PID lines are operated in line with special timetables for workdays during holidays.

METRO: The operation is extended to cca. 2:30 a.m. with the interval of 10 minutes.

Departures of the last connections from the terminal stations:

  • Line ANemocnice Motol at 1:51 a.m., Depo Hostivař at 1:53 a.m.
  • Line BZličín at 1:40 a.m., Černý Most at 1:45 a.m.
  • Line CLetňany at 1:44 a.m., Háje at 1:44 a.m.

TRAMS:

  • The operation of daytime lines is terminated at cca. 10:00 p.m.
  • Lines no. 4 and 21 are not in operation, line no. 16 is operated only in the Lehovec – Kotlářka section.
  • The operation of night lines is launched from cca. 10:00 p.m.
  • From cca. 10:00 p.m. to cca. 3:30 a.m., the intervals of night lines are 15 minutes. Afterwards, until cca. 7:00 a.m., the intervals are 20 minutes.
  • All guaranteed transfers are cancelled during the entire night.

BUSES:

  •  The operation of daytime lines is terminated at cca. 10:00 p.m.
  • Lines no. 180, 185, 191, 200, 208 and 220 are operated in line with a special timetable.
  • Line no. 182 is not in operation.
  • From cca. 10:00 p.m. to cca. 2:30 a.m., selected bus lines are operated (100, 102, 103, 106, 107, 109, 111, 112, 113, 118, 119, 120, 123, 125, 129, 131, 134, 136, 137, 139, 141, 142, 145, 154, 161, 162, 163, 174, 176, 177, 180, 190, 191, 193, 197, 199, 201, 207, 213, 215, 221, 226, 227, 229, 241).
  • From cca. 2:30 a.m. to cca. 7:00 a.m., city night lines are operated.
  • Lines no. 904, 905, 910, 911 (section Nádraží Hostivař – Cukrovar Čakovice) with the interval of 15 minutes, lines no. 902, 907, 908, 909, 911 (section Cukrovar Čakovice – Sídliště Čakovice), 912, 913, 915 with the interval of 30 minutes, lines no. 901, 903, 906, 914 with the interval of 60 minutes.
  • All guaranteed transfers are cancelled during the entire night.
  • Selected daytime and all night suburban lines are operated in line with special timetables.

FUNICULAR: The operation is terminated by the last ride at 10:00 p.m.

TRAINS:

  • The trains operation in line with timetables for workdays (exceptions marked by notes in timetables) is terminated at cca. 8:00 p.m. Afterwards, limited operation is maintained until cca. 10:00 p.m. with the interval of 60 minutes for S lines (except for line no. S34 – terminated already at cca. 6:00 p.m.).
  • During the night from the 31st of December 2018 to the 1st of January 2019, night trains departing from Hlavní nádraží at 2:30 a.m. are operated.

1st of January 2019 (Tuesday) – New Year’s Day

All PID lines are operated in line with timetables for Sunday.

2nd of January 2019 (Wednesday)

The operation of the metro, trams and buses is in line with timetables for workdays during holidays.

TRAMS, BUSES: The restrictions are the same as in the period from the 27th of December 2018 to the 28th of December 2018.

3rd of January 2019 – 4th of January 2019 (Thursday – Friday)

  • The operation of urban PID lines is the same as in the period from the 27th of December 2018 to the 28th of December 2018 (school lines, except for lines no. 251, 260 and 265, are in operation).
  • The operation of suburban PID lines and trains is in line with valid timetables for workdays.

Timetables with stops for the holiday’s restrictions are published. In the case of night lines, the timetables with stops for the entire period are published. All timetables with stops, including the short-term ones for the restricted operation on the 24th of December 2018, the 25th of December 2018, the 31st of December 2018 and the 1st of January 2019, are available at websites www.dpp.cz or www.pid.cz.
