Muzeum – Kačerov: temporary suspension of the underground service
Due to railway reconstruction, the underground service on line C will be suspended in the Muzeum – Kačerov section in both directions during two consecutive weekends: 22nd – 23rd of October 2016 and 28th – 30th of October 2016 (both times from the launch of the operation on Saturday, or Friday, to the end of the operation on Sunday).
A replacement bus service:
A replacement bus service line XC is established in daytime operation on the route Hlavní nádraží – Muzeum – I. P. Pavlova – Vyšehrad – Pražského povstání – Pankrác – Budějovická – Kačerov.
Changes to bus stops:
For lines no. 189 and 215, the Kačerov stop (in the direction to Nemocnice Krč) is relocated forwards, to the stop of line no. 106.
Due to missing barrier-free exit from the Kačerov station, we recommend using the following bus connections:
- From the area of Jižní Město we recommend bus lines no. 135, 136, 170 and 213.
- From the area of Spořilov we recommend bus lines no. 118 and 170.
- From Nemocnice Krč we recommend bus line no. 193.
In the Hlavní nádraží station, persons with reduced mobility are (subject to previous agreement with driver) enabled to get off the buses of line XC at the boarding stop near the elevators leading to the railway station hall. Afterwards, line C of the underground can be used for subsequent transport in the direction to the Letňany terminal station.
