Permanent changes in PID from October 6, 2014

From Monday, October 6, 2014, several permanent changes in the operation of PID trams and buses will come into effect.

In connection with the opening of the new Troja Bridge, the tram service closure in the section Trojská – Nádraží Holešovice will end. Tram lines number 17 and 53 will therefore be able to return to their regular route.

There will also be a route change for bus line number 112. The line in the direction of Nádraží Holešovice will be routed along the new Troja Bridge, which will shorten its travel time. In addition, to make transfers easier between lines, the stop Trojská will be relocated to the tram stop. The stops Pelc Tyrolka and Jankovcova will be cancelled in this direction. As a replacement for the connection in the direction from the university residence halls to the metro station Nádraží Holešovice, inserted connections of line number 201 in the route Rokoska – Nádraží Holešovice were introduced already from September 22, 2014.

Another permanent change will be the introduction of new midibus line number 294 in the city center, in the route Florenc – Petrské náměstí – Staroměstská – Malostranské náměstí – Nemocnice pod Petřínem. This line will replace line number 292, which will be cancelled, and will offer a more comprehensive option for connecting the locations of the Lesser Town, Old Town, Petrská quarter and Florenc.

In the Florenc area, there will be changes to the stops for lines number 135, and lines number 1 and 2 for the disabled. The boarding stop for line number 135 will be relocated from Ke Štvanici street to Křižíkova street. The stops of line number 1 (for both directions) and line number 2 (boarding and exit) for the disabled will be relocated from Křižíkova street to Ke Štvanici street.

We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.
