From Sunday, March 2nd, 2014, there is a permanent change in the routes, stops and timetables of bus lines No. 160 and 359, as well as a change in the nature of several tram stops.
Changes to Bus Lines No. 160 and 359:
- Line Number 160 will be extended from Lysolaje to Výhledů along the original route of line number 359 and will travel the route Dejvická – Podbaba – Lysolaje – Sídlištní – Kamýcká – Budovec – K Drsnici – Suchdol – Zemědělská univerzita – K Horoměřicům – Výhledy (in the section Lysolaje – Výhledy, only part of the connections will be in operation on weekdays).
- Line number 359 will travel the new route Suchdol – Zemědělská univerzita – Únětice, Na Parcelách – Roztoky, rozcestí Žalov – Roztoky, Solníky – Roztoky, Tyršovo náměstí – Roztoky, nádraží – Roztoky, Bělina.
Tram Stop Changes:
Since the launch of daytime operation on Sunday, March 2nd, 2014, there will also be a larger number of request tram stops. The following stops will newly be operated as request tram stops: Depo Hostivař, Malešická továrna, Na Homoli – in both directions, Vozovna Kobylisy – a newly established centre–bound station in Klapkova street.
A request stop for trams works exactly the same way as in the case of buses. Before coming to such a stop it is not necessary to wave to the driver, it is merely necessary upon exit to press the button for opening the door well in advance so that the driver knows he must make a stop.
Thank you for your understanding.
