From Monday the 1st June 2015 no trains on the metro A line running in the direction of the centre will terminate at Dejvická station. The individual metro trains will travel as far as to the Nemocnice Motol terminal (while only on weekdays, from cca. 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., every alternate train will terminate at Petřiny station).
On weekday mornings the intervals between trains running in the Dejvická – Petřiny section will be shortened from 10 to 5 minutes, in the afternoon from 6 to 3 minutes and in the evening from 7-10 to 3.5-5 minutes. On the basis of traffic surveys and suggestions from passengers and from the Municipal Districts, the City of Prague has decided to strengthen the operation of the metro. This strengthening will assist those passengers who, at the Bořislavka and Nádraží Veleslavín stations, transfer to connecting buses. The journey to the Václav Havel Airport Prague, in the course of which, at the Nádraží Veleslavín station, passengers transfer to metrobus line No. 119, will also be speeded up.
