Traffic measures during the military parade held to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the establishment of an independent Czechoslovak state

Due to a military parade held to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the establishment of an independent Czechoslovak state, the tram service will be suspended in both directions and the bus service will be restricted in streets Evropská, Svatovítská and Jugoslávských partyzánů on Saturday, the 27th of October 2018, from cca. 8:00 p.m. to cca. 12:00 a.m. (midnight) and on Sunday, the 28th of October 2018, from cca. 9:00 a.m. to cca. 6:00 p.m.

Route changes of tram lines

  • Lines no. 8 and 18 are, in the direction from the city centre, from the Hradčanská stop, diverted via the stops Prašný most and Brusnice to the Pohořelec stop, where they terminate.
  • Lines no. 20 and 26 are, in the direction from the city centre, from the Hradčanská stop, diverted via the stops Prašný most, Vozovna Střešovice and Hládkov to the Malovanka stop, where they terminate.
  • Replacement bus service line no. X20 is established on the route Divoká Šárka – Nádraží Veleslavín – Bořislavka – Vozovna Střešovice – Prašný most – Hradčanská.

Route changes of bus lines

  • Line no. 108 is, from Saturday, the 27th of October 2018 (from cca. 5:00 p.m.) to Sunday, the 28th of October 2018 (to cca. 6:00 p.m.) shortened to the route Sídliště Na Dědině – Poliklinika Petřiny.
  • Lines no. 143, 179 and 180 are, from the Prašný most stop, diverted to the Hradčanská stop, where they terminate.

Changes to bus stops of lines no. 107, 116, 147, 160, 340, 350 and 355

  • Boarding and terminal stop Dejvická is relocated to Jugoslávských partyzánů Street, to the exit from the bus turning loop.
  • The Lotyšská stop is established in both directions, namely in Jugoslávských partyzánů Street, in the stops of bus line no. 902.

Visitors of the event are recommended using especially the metro lines for transport to the venue of the military parade. On Sunday, at the time of the event, the operation of line A will be reinforced and the metro trains will run at an interval of 3.5 minute. If necessary, the operation of lines B and C will be reinforced as well.

Taking into consideration that the metro station Dejvická is located in the immediate vicinity of the venue of the military parade, selected exits from the station to the surface will be closed here. Visitors are recommended getting off in the metro station Bořislavka, which is within walking distance from the venue.
